Hi Tony, Yes that's what you use. either flat or satin works just spray very fine and a thin coat since the the spray can version uses a very powerful thinner that can lift the old paint if it's applied to thick. -willard

yah, no problem, and when you want to clean it just run the oven real hot for a while and your stone will turn almost white again, this happens at about 900-1000 deg. -wg
