Hey Willard ! ... wow, that looks amazing ! ... I've love to see this in my backyard.... if I had an acre of property, I think this would look great ! . Love how "cute" it looks, and has that country feel to it.

Hi Willard, something I realized I didn't explain is that many times, I'll cover the doughs up, and leave them in the fridge for 2 days, and then .... will pop them into the freezer. I guess when u record video and talk at the same time, it isn't ...

My first 2Stone voyage - Spring 2008

So, this past May 13th, was the day !

Yup, I fired up my new 2Stone oven for the first time this spring. It was the first real try out of the oven too. Sure, I got my new 2Stone pizza oven last October, but growing up in Canada, we get very bad winters, and October already has sub-zero temps, and so I never got to really try out my oven.

The day was warm, and there was no wind. I had a batch of dough sitting in the fridge, pre-fermented, and it was really wanting to get baked up into a delicio… Continue

Hi Lance,

I'm thinking I'm going to place the 2stone in place first, ( in the middle of my bbq ) then I'll just place all the tiles I have on either side of the 2Stone so that all the grill on both left and right of the 2Stone oven is all covered up.... and then I'll give it a go. If I find the heat is much better ( and it should be ) I'll then have my HomeDepot guy cut the tiles for me, so they fit correctly. For my test though, I'll just place tiles I have, and they will overlap one another, but that's ok. It will give me a good idea if it works, and I am sure it will be better. If the heat can't escape where the tiles are located, it will go into the 2Stone oven instead. I believe Willard sells metal plates on his website, that take the place of tiles, so if you have exact measurements, he may have these metal slabs that will fit you specific bbq.
