2Stone friends

Artisan pizza & flat bread connoisseurs.

We plan on leaving our oven outside, unless/until the weather turns severe. I found a Weber kettle BBQ cover at a local store for only about $15 - and it fits the 2Stone oven well, except that it covers only about 3/4 of the oven. Does anybody know of a commercially available cover that entirely covers the 2Stone oven? If not, then my wife, Sharon, will make one for our oven. Hey! Another potential 2Stone accessory! ;-)

Although we've got our oven covered, and are confident the stones are staying dry, are there any other recommendations for caring for the stones? Do most people leave the stones in their oven between bakes, or do they bring them inside for more protection?

Yes, the stones can take a lot and I don't remove them.
I have tested them with water also and the only recommendation
would be if they got wet is to fire them up slowly. Otherwise I have tested them
including spraying 700 F stones with water and the were able to withstand it even
though the manufacture does not recommend it!
Unfortunately I just sold a commercial sewing machine that we used for a canvass
product we used to manufacture. It's probably not a bad idea to use a cover. -willard
