2Stone friends

Artisan pizza & flat bread connoisseurs.

I bought my 2Stone this past year, but bought it just before winter set in, so never got to really give it a workout.

Can't wait until BBQ season starts, so I can get my hands dirty, and try out my new 2Stone pizza grill !

I have thought I should order the oven cover for my 2Stone, and may do so.

Looks like a great place to chat about our new 2Stone grills, I'm glad a forum like this has started up because there are lots of 2Stone users out there.

Hey Frosty

I'm going to get confused sooner or later and call you by one of your other aliases!
Great to see you here. I know what Canada looks like from the air in the winter, since I
just flew over......COLD..... But you guys are like us Norwegians, a hearty bunch of people.
I talked to a guy from Alabama a couple of days ago who commented to me about "the guy
on the forum with the snow piled up high in his front yard"!!
Yes I'm hoping we can delve deeper into several topics relating to the 2stone including the flat bread
similar to what you posted on pizzamaking. I'm also looking forward to more info on pita bread, Indian naan
and other types of flat breads that are well suited for the 2stone ovens.
I'm going to be sending out invitations to the 2stone users as soon as I get a few more things worked out here. I'm thinking of having a grand opening with a drawing for a $150.00 gift certificate towards the purchase of any 2stone products.

Hi Willard,

Everyone calls me Frosty, all my friends do, and lots of my family. I am a homebrewer, and well the name just stuck. Canadian Bacon is just one I used on the pizza forum.

Call me anything you like, just don't call me late for a slice of pizza on the 2Stone ! hehehe.

The drawing sounds good Willard. That would be a nice thing to do.

P.S. - I had thoughts of firing up my grill today, but the skies are not good, and rain is expected. I also don't like the fact that there is a lot of wind. I really want to try out my new 2Stone on a nice day, so that I can really have fun with it, and get some good video and images taken too. I can't wait.... !

P.S. The metal cover for it oven-casing, I think this would be a good thing for me to think about. With this cover, over my 2Stone, would it still fit onto a round Weber grill ( charcoal fueled ? )

Thanks,

Frosty

Frosty,

If you want to use it on the 22" weber grill it will work great just the way you have it.
If you are thinking about adding that you your gas grill I'm not sure. It is raised up about
4" to accommodate the bayou burners flame which is quite long. I think once you try out the gas charcoal combo you will be surprised at how hot you can get it.
The drawing would just about cover the cost of the oven casing. And for the guys who have the oven it could go towards the cart.
